It will soon be two years since we moved into our Hammer Custom Home. I mention this at the beginning of this review because although that amount of time has passed we are still extremely happy that we chose this builder to construct our home. To complicate matters we were living in another state while our home was being built but still found Dave and Debbie Hammer to be very easy to work with and very helpful during our initial conversations and during construction. Mike, the Construction Supervisor on our home, was also most helpful and forthcoming with timely answers to our many questions. Dave was very generous in the time he spent with us and for all of those ‘little things’ he provided that helped make our home what it is. Debbie too was generous with her time and offered many good design suggestion. This is not a builder that you never hear from again after construction. We have spoken with Dave and Debbie several times over the past two years and Mike is still active in home construction in our subdivision and we speak with him often. As stated above we could not be happier that we chose Hammer Custom Homes to build our home. If we were to build another home in the Colorado Springs area we would certainly call on Hammer Custom Homes. Some builders are great to work with before you sign their contract and maybe during the warranty period. Dave, Debbie, and Mike were great to work with then and they still are two years later. That is truly the benchmark of a good homebuilder.
