We moved into our Hammer Home in 2015. In 2017 we wrote a Google review on Hammer Custom Homes saying, among other things, how satisfied we were with our Hammer home and how glad we were that we chose this company. Now, more than four years after moving in we are still very glad we chose Dave Hammer for the construction of our home. At the beginning of the winter of 2019 we noticed a leak from our concrete tile roof into our garage. I sent an email to Dave asking if he still used the roofing company that installed the roof and asking if he used other roofers so I could contact someone about making repairs. Dave quickly replied saying he still uses the same roofer that installed the roof on my house exclusively and he would send them an email asking them to look into the issue. Although the workmanship warranty had expired Dave said he would work with the roofing company to ensure the leak was fixed and if the cause of the leak was not due to an external factor, such as an animal... making a hole under the concrete tile, that he would see to it I would not be charged. The roofers inspection did not reveal any external factor causing the leak indicating the reason for the leak may have been a problem with the underlayment system beneath the concrete tiles. Dave was true to his word and the leak was repaired and I did not receive an invoice.On the Hammer Custom Homes website, Dave talks about things like Integrity & Honesty, Excellence, Quality, and Attention to Detail. He says he has a strong commitment to his clients and that he stands behind his product 100%. I have also heard Dave say its not about the price of the repair for him, it is about quality, workmanship, and follow up. I can honestly say this is not someone just putting words on paper. In this instance, where a fairly expensive roofing system may have failed due to a problem with the underlayment or perhaps from a mistake in the installation of the underlayment Dave stepped up and did what he thought was the right thing to do. The things Dave says on his web site are right on target. He is an honest builder concerned with his clients best interest. Dave is truly a man of his word and you can't realistically expect more from a builder.read more

This was the first home we built and it was an amazing experience. From the beginning to the end my wife and I were impressed with not only the quality on the work done but more importantly the customer service and flexibility of Hammer Homes. Super satisfied with all aspects of the construction process. It was anamazing how non-stressful this project was when you one looks at it in hindsight. Thank you again Hammer Homes.

The entire Hammer Homes team was great to work with. They made sure everything was done the way we wanted it and were very knowledgeable in helping is make decisions. Use of the Coconstruct app made communications easy, which was really important since we were out of state for several months during the build. And they delivered our house to us early!

When looking for a local custom home builder we asked residents, realtors and other builders who they’d recommend and received a unanimous “Hammer Homes!” As we approach the end of construction and prepare to close on our stunningly gorgeous new home we’re so happy to have found Dave Sr., Debbie and Dave Jr. Not only do they build a solid, “good bones”, beautiful home with attention to detail, on budget and on time.....they’re a wonderfully generous and kind family!Thank you for building such a lovely home for our family!

Dave is a trusted and dependable builder who always goes above any beyond....even after the home is built. He is loyal to his customers and is always available to help them...whether it is answering questions, guiding them and/or helping resolve issues. I have been providing One Close Construction Loans for Dave's Clients since 2008. I am very lucky to have the opportunity he has given me to work with many of his clients over the years. Hammer Homes built our new home last year and every step of the way they were awesome to work with. Dave Sr, his wife Debbie and son Dave Jr were responsive to all our questions and needs during the build process and continue to be available even now after 1 year. We would have 100% confidence to build with Hammer Homes again.
